Hi, A local nursing home (Orono Commons in Orono, ME) has residents who are either in bed or sitting in a chair with their jammies or bathrobes on who are in need of shawls. Many residents don't have family or friends and could really use some nice warm shawls, knit, crochet, polar fleece etc, that they could use while they are out and about in their wheel chairs.
